LEAD PASTOR: Greg and Tara Hintz

Greg and Tara Hintz have been in ministry together for over decade. They started in 1999, working in a homeless shelter, playing music during church services and feeding the hungry right after the service. Then they began ministering to children as Greg took a position as a Director of Youth and Family Ministries/Office Administrator at a non-denominational church in Lorain, Ohio. After a brief hyatus selling real estate, Greg decided to reenter ministry and took a job as a Director of Youth and Family Ministries at a Presbyterian Church in Arizona. This is where God planted a vision in his heart to plant a church.

Greg works full time in ministry reaching out in the city of Wickenburg and teaches at a local clinic working with patients who struggle with eating disorders. He also has a passion for the needy and works tirelessly to assure that the many needs of the community are being met. Tara works hard in the ministry and loves being a mother and raising her three wonderful boys ~ Dylan, Zion and Xander ~ and Daughter Jessie. She is also actively involved in the local chapter of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and reaching the women of Wickenburg >> EMAIL GREG <<

SOUND MINISTRY:

Dave Hoyt

Dave has a long history of making music in church.  His mom has been a choir director in churches for over 35 years.  He began playing guitar in high school, and has been a singer his whole life.  Growing up in the great city of New Orleans, he has a very wide appreciation for music of all types.  He has lived in the Valley for 8 years with his wife Rebecca, daughters Gina and Lacey, and son Grayson.  Dave works as a mobile disc jockey and is the owner of EZAZ DJ Services.

Dave was the interim praise band leader at a church here in Wickenburg until a guy by the name of Greg Hintz came along and was hired as the full-time leader.  The two became, and remained friends. He is excited to share God's love and excitement through music. He is also happy that God's only requirement is that we "make a joyful noise".

A Phoenix native, Rebecca has volunteered with kids in church for years and works as a Long Term Care case manager in the valley. >> EMAIL DAVE <<

Meaghan feels privileged to work with The Place for Kids where she gets to worship, teach, and play weekly.

Lisa Fulks

Lisa has lived in Wickenburg for most of her life and has worked in education for over twenty years. During that time, she thoroughly enjoyed her work with at-risk and disabled children. For ten of those years she was a teacher at Morristown Elementary School in Arizona where she also directed chorus. Before becoming a teacher she taught children's church.

She has been actively involved in education and is so pleased to help lead a ministry that is educating children on the love and grace of Jesus. She has an incredible creative side that is poured out each and every week in the children's ministry. Lisa loves children and is very excited to be involved in the children's ministry at The Place.
