If you are new to THE PLACE or simply desiring to learn more about this ministry, we are so happy to have you. We believe that everyone has a story and that this story has a past, present and a future. To get acquainted with THE PLACE, we'd like to tell you a little bit about each of these.

THE PAST: We were birthed from a desire to do something great ~ not only in Wickenburg, but in the world. Looking around our town, we realized that we could either talk about 'good ideas' or we could begin applying some simple principles of change to our own lives and to a Christian community which wanted to be used by God to do mighty things with their lives. In the fall of 2009, a handful of people joined in prayer and set out on the adventure of a lifetime... planning a community known as THE PLACE.

THE PRESENT: We are currently doing all the work associated with a church launch ~ purchasing and praying and planning and praying and preparing and praying. It is truly the adventure of a lifetime! We are rapidly moving toward our launch date of February 21, 2010. We have gathered a wonderful group of people who have a strong desire to be used by God to do something great and CAN'T WAIT for the launch!

THE FUTURE: We will be a community of faith, love and hope in the heart of Wickenburg and the state of Arizona. We will be a church which is known for its compassion and action in the community. We will be actively involved in the lives of the children, teens, adults and the elderly of Wickenburg. We will be a church which plants churches ~ launching ten more Christian communities in the next ten years. We will love God and serve Him and watch Him do great things in us and through us!

So, there it is in a nutshell. The past, present and future of THE PLACE. We would love to have you on this journey with us. We are here to serve and assist you on your faith journey.
