~ MINISTRIES ~
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: Kids take top priority at THE PLACE. We heed the words of Jesus when He said, 'Let the little children come to me' and believe that a Christian community should be no different. You will find clean, fun, technologically equipped classrooms staffed with teachers who take the Christian Education of your children seriously. Each week your kids will play games, sing songs, and learn about the wonderful grace and plans of God for their lives. SENIORS OUTREACH: The Bible tells us that it is the responsibility of a Christian to take care of the widows and orphans. (James 1:27) Taking that mandate seriously, The Place is taken a forward approach to reaching out to the elderly in the community. Whether it is through home visits, our 'adopt a grandparent' program, or our outreach to the community retirement homes, we hope that the seniors in our community know that we love them and that Jesus' plan is still being played out in their lives. YOUTH MINISTRY: THE PLACE FOR TEENS is a community of teens who meet each Wednesday at 7pm at the church. They are challenged through Biblical teachings and given real opportunities to live out their faith. Whether it is collecting food for the homeless or rebuilding houses after a hurricane; praying with a fellow student or visiting orphans right here in the state of AZ, students are sure to experience a message of hope and given the opportunity to act their faith out in their life.
YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY: Young adults are important part of the ministry at THE PLACE. We have a great group of young adults who have a variety of activities set up and spend time 'sharing life' with one another. Please contact the church office for more information concerning our 'Young Adults' Ministry.
NEWCOMERS: Our hope and prayer is that you will find this website very helpful in learning more about The Place. We strive to be a community that is comfortable, caring and relevant ~ from the individual needs of those who walk through the doors on a Sunday morning to the overall community and the challenges that we all face. May this simply be the beginning of a wonderful relationship centered on the faith, love and hope that can only be found in Jesus. |
